On October 29, 2013, Judge McLellan ruled against the State of Iowa's request to dismiss a lawsuit filed by a former DCI (Department of Criminal Investigation) agent alleging that his confidential personnel file had been improperly disclosed to an independent investigator who was reviewing a claim that his termination from the DCI was retaliatory.
