Larry Miller is a judge of the Kentucky 39th Circuit Court.

Miller (Republican Party) is running for election to the Kentucky State Senate to represent District 38. He declared candidacy for the Republican primary scheduled on May 19, 2026.[source]

Miller is a family court judge for the Breathitt, Powell and Wolfe Counties Family Court of the 39th Judicial Circuit in Kentucky.[1] He ran for re-election in 2014 and was successful in his bid, winning a four-year term that expired on January 6, 2019. [2]

Miller received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky in 1972 and his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1977.[4]

Career

Before he became a judge, Miller worked as an attorney at his own law practice in Breathitt County. He has also previously served as a public defender and as a trial commissioner for the Kentucky Bar Association.[4]
