1) Economic growth through land redevelopment

2) Develop a strategy to address the opiate epidemic

I enjoy working collaboratively and I make decisions based on long term results. I listen and try to have empathy for people and their concerns.[3]

Make decisions that are in the long term best interests of the people, not decisions that offer short term satisfaction.[3]
What legacy would you like to leave?
A man who always did what was right, because it was the right thing to do.[3]
What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?
I was 39 on 9/11 and I feared how it would forever affect how my children view the world.[3]

I worked at a miniature golf course for 2 summers in high school.[3]

Nausea and vomiting ass a result of amusement parks rides.[3]
What is your favorite holiday? Why?
I love Thanksgiving because there are no expectations of gifts, only a day to reflect and give thanks.[3]

The Grapes of Wrath because it told the story of injustice but also the determination of the American Spirit.[3]
If you could be any fictional character, who would you want to be?
Atticus Finch, a man of integrity[3]
What is your favorite thing in your home or apartment? Why?
My stove, I love to cook and it relaxes me.[3]

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?
Accepting the relationship I had with my father. Recognizing that his lack of presence was not a lack of love.[3]
Do you believe that it's beneficial for state legislators to have previous experience in government or politics?
I have served as Township Trustee for 10 years and I think it has been very helpful in preparing me for the state legislature.[3]
What do you perceive to be your state's greatest challenges over the next decade?
Generating jobs Fixing the public school system address the opiate problem[3]
What do you believe is the ideal relationship between the governor and the state legislature?
I expect the Governor and legislature to support each other in the vision yet represent the balance of varying opinions on the method of achieving the vision.[3]
Do you believe it's beneficial to build relationships with other legislators? Please explain your answer.
I believe in collaboration across the aisle.[3]
What process do you favor for redistricting?
I am against gerrymandering as I feel it only perpetuates party divides in communities.[3]
If you are not a current legislator, are there certain committees that you would want to be a part of?

If you are a current legislator, what appealed to you about your current committees?

If you are not currently a member of your party's leadership in the legislature, would you be interested in joining the leadership? If so, in what role?
I would love to serve the party and the residents in my district in any way I can.[3]
Is there a particular legislator, past or present, whom you want to model yourself after?
Locally, Tom Carney serves as Township Trustee, state Representative, and County Commissioner. He was forward thinking and worked collaboratively.[3]
Are you interested in running for a different political office (for example, the U.S. Congress or governor) in the future?
At this time, I have no further intentions.[3]
Both sitting legislators and candidates for office hear many personal stories from the residents of their district. Is there a story that you've heard that you found particularly touching, memorable, or impactful?
I have heard many stories of people successfully in recovery who have struggled with addiction.[3]
