  • Texan’s tax burden is too high and needs to be reduced and I am committed to reduce the burden. We have to prevent our citizens from being taxed out of their homes. As a longtime property rights advocate and former Planning Commission Chairman, I will work to reduce the property tax burden, reform how Central Appraisal Districts operate so property owners are empowered, stop the annual increases, and cap and freeze property taxes for seniors. Government should serve taxpayers, not the other way around. I know how to listen, lead and deliver results.
  • Public safety starts with secure borders, strong law enforcement, and responsible oversight. As a veteran with hands on experience serving on a Fire District Board and Public Utility Board, I understand emergency readiness and community protection. I will support law enforcement, protect our children, and oppose policies that weaken public safety or misuse technology, including the use of AI to deny medical care or claims for our citizens.
  • Opportunity grows when government is accountable and transparent. I will fight for affordable housing solutions, fairer credit reporting practices that don’t punish people trying to secure financing, and ensure teachers have the tools they need to build our children’s future. With over 10 years of public service and private sector leadership, I will be a fulltime, accessible senator who answers to voters, not lobbyists, and delivers results for everyone in District 5, not just special interests.
I am most passionate about reducing the tax burdens on our citizens, protecting taxpayers and property owners, strengthening public safety, and ensuring fairness and accountability in government. I believe seniors should be able to stay in their homes and families deserve affordable housing and fairer credit reporting practices that don’t punish people trying to secure financing. Teachers need real support in the classroom, and law enforcement must have the tools they need to keep our communities safe. I am also committed to responsible use of technology, including preventing AI from being used to deny medical care or insurance claims.
