Biography

Larry Romo was born in San Antonio and graduated from Highlands High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in social science from the United States Air Force Academy in 1978 and a master of education degree from Montana State University in 1983. He served in the United States Air Force from 1999 to 2009, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Romo was nominated by President Barack Obama in 2009 to serve as the United States Selective Service Director.[1][2]
