2017
Four of the seven seats on the Pasadena Independent School District school board were up for general election on May 6, 2017. All four incumbents filed for re-election to their seats, and each faced one challenger. All incumbents defeated their respective challengers. Position 1 incumbent Fred Roberts faced challenger Roel Saldivar. In Position 2, incumbent Mariselle Quijano vied for the seat with newcomer Maria Duran. Position 3 saw board member Nelda Sullivan file along with former board member Larry Savala. In Position 4, incumbent Jack Bailey faced Jose Cazares for the seat.[2]
