Larry Selders earned a bachelor's degree in social work from Southern University and A&M College in 2005.[1]

Noteworthy events

Arrest on charges of impaired driving (2022)

On the morning of August 21, 2022, Selders was stopped by the Louisiana State Police, and his blood alcohol content registered over the legal limit. Selders was charged with driving while impaired, reckless operation, and driving under suspension. After the arrest, Selders was released on summons. [2][3]

Shortly after his release, Selders posted an apology statement on social media.[2][3]
