Larry Barker (b. March 31, 1946) is a former Democratic member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 18 from 2004 to 2012. He served as an Assistant Majority Whip. Barker has served as Chief Deputy County Clerk for Boone County since 1982.

Barker attended Bob Jones University in 1965.

Barker was a Sergeant E-5 in the West Virginia Army National Guard from 1965 to 1971. He then worked as a part-time employee for WZAC, FM Radio from 1981 to 2004.[1]

Barker ran for re-election in the 2012 election for West Virginia House of Delegates, District 23. Barker ran unopposed in the May 8 primary election and was defeated by Joshua Nelson in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4]

Barker was re-elected to the West Virginia House of Delegates District 18. He was one of two candidates running for the one District 18 Delegate position on the ballot in the November 2, 2010, general election. He was unopposed in the May 11 primary. He was opposed by Democrat Jim Marion in the general election.[5][6][7]

In 2008 Barker was re-elected to the West Virginia House District 18. Barker (D) ran unopposed and finished with 5,282 votes.[8] Barker raised $17,628 for his campaign fund.[9]
