Larry Walther
Larry Walther (Republican Party) was the Arkansas Treasurer. He assumed office on August 7, 2023. He left office on January 1, 2025.
Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) appointed Walther to replace former Treasurer Mark Lowery (R).[1]
Biography
Larry Walther earned a B.S. in math and economics from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 1970.[2] Walther's career experience includes working as the secretary of the State of Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration, the director of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, and the vice president of corporate services and an engineer with SBC Communications. He has served on the board of directors of The Export Import Bank of the United States.[2][3]
