Larry Williams (West Virginia)
Larry A. Williams (b. November 17, 1943) is a former Democratic member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 52 from 1992 to April 15, 2015. He resigned to take a job with the West Virginia Department of Agriculture.[1]
He served as Assistant Majority Whip from 2003 to 2005.
Biography
Williams received his diploma from Tunnelton High School in 1961. He worked as a store operator from 1964 to 1996. He has been a businessman and farmer. Williams served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1964.[2]

Elections
2014
Elections for the West Virginia House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 13, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 25, 2014. Incumbent Larry Williams was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Melissa Lewis was unopposed in the Republican primary. Williams defeated Lewis in the general election.[3]
2012
Williams won re-election in the 2012 election for West Virginia House of Delegates, District 52. Williams ran unopposed in the May 8 primary election and defeated John Bartlett (C) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[4][5][6]
2010
Williams was re-elected to the West Virginia House of Delegates District 45. He was unopposed in the November 2, 2010, general election.[7][8][9]
