Lars G. Anderson is the chief judge of Iowa District 6. He was appointed to the bench in 2014 and was appointed to the position of chief judge beginning January 1, 2021.[1] Anderson was retained in the general election on November 8, 2016.[2]

Biography

Anderson received an undergraduate degree from Luther College and a J.D. from the University of Iowa.[2]

From 1995 until his appointment to the bench in 2014, he was in private practice. In 2014, he also law as an adjunct professor at the University of Iowa.[2]
