Laura Barnard is an at-large representative on the Howard-Suamico School District Board of Education in Wisconsin. Barnard ran unopposed and won re-election to her seat in the general election on April 5, 2016.[1]

Barnard is the manager of annuity and settlement option services at Thrivent Financial. She obtained a bachelor's degree in accounting at Indiana University at Bloomington.[2]

Three of the seven seats on the Howard-Suamico School District school board were up for general election on April 5, 2016. While the board members are elected by the district at-large, four members represent the city of Howard, and three members represent the city of Suamico. Incumbents Mark Ashley and Teresa Ford ran unopposed for the two Howard seats. Incumbent Laura Barnard ran unopposed for the Suamico seat. All three incumbents won re-election to their seats.[1]

Funding

Barnard reported no contributions or expenditures to the Howard-Suamico School District in the election.[3] Any candidate spending or receiving less than $2,000 was not required to file a campaign finance report.[4]
