Laura Castillo
Laura Castillo was a judge of the Fifth Judicial District Court in New Mexico. She was appointed by Governor Susana Martinez on July 3, 2014, filling an additional judgeship created by the legislature in 2014.[1] She resigned from the court in 2014.[2]
Education
Castillo received her undergraduate degree from University of the Southwest in Hobbs, New Mexico. She then received her J.D. from the Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas.[1]
Career
Castillo worked as a private practice attorney and assistant district attorney prior to her appointment to the district court in 2014.[1]
