Laura Gramling Perez is a judge for Branch 32 of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. Her current term ends on August 1, 2026.

Perez ran for re-election for the Branch 32 judge of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. She won in the general election on April 7, 2020.

Education

Perez graduated from Rufus King High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Columbia University. She earned her J.D. with honors from the University of Michigan Law School in 1996.[1]

Career

After law school, Perez worked as an attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in New York. In 1999 she returned to Milwaukee County and joined Reinhart, Boerner Van Deuren S.C. There, she handled complex cases in federal and state courts throughout the United States. In 2004 Perez was elected Shareholder at the firm. She was appointed Presiding Court Commissioner for the Milwaukee County Circuit Court by former Chief Judge Kitty Brennan.[1][2]
