I have served as the Hidalgo County District Clerk since 2007 and was reelected in 2022 to serve a

fifth term in office. I have committed myself to being a public servant dedicated to preserving and

maintaining the judicial records of the County of Hidalgo and the State of Texas. I believe in progress through sound working relationships and collaboration. During my tenure I have served the county of Hidalgo and the State of Texas as a clerk in several capacities most notably as the President of the County and District Clerks' Association of Texas Executive Board which serves as the governing body of the association, responsible for the direction and management of all organizational affairs. I was most recently named the 2025 District Clerk of the Year for the State of Texas. I am committed to continued progress by enhancing customer service, capitalizing on technology, and streamlining practices to deliver more efficient and responsive government.
  • We have worked to capitalize on technology to improve efficiency and increase accessibility for the public and the courts.
  • We have implemented streramlined processes to reduce redundancy, achieve higher productivity and improve quality results for internal and external customers.
  • The Hidalgo County District Clerk's Office provides exemplary customer service to deliver an exceptional and no-nonsense experience.
Through my work with the County and District Clerks' Association of Texas, I have worked on and grown passionate about legislative issues that directly impact clerks, the judiciary and our county as a whole.
