Laura J. Masunaga

Laura J. Masunaga was a judge for the Superior Court of Siskiyou County in California. She was appointed by former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) in April 2005 to succeed Chris Stromsness.[1] Masunaga did not run for re-election in 2018 and retired in January 2019.[2]
Biography
Masunaga received a bachelor's degree from Stanford University and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law. Prior to becoming a judge for the Superior Court of Siskiyou County, Masunaga was a Superior Court commissioner. Before that, Masunaga was an attorney working in private practice.[1]
2012 election

Masunaga ran for re-election to the superior court in 2012. As an unopposed incumbent, her name did not appear on the ballot. After the primary election, Masunaga was automatically re-elected.[3]
