Laura Judge is a mother, a Navy veteran, and a scientist. She is running for school board because as a parent of students within the district, she understands that each child and family has a unique need. By fostering an atmosphere of collaboration between students, parents, teachers, administrators, and even board members, we can ensure that decisions are made with the best interests of our students at heart. She promises to champion the needs of every student in our community. In addition, her commitment to transparency extends beyond the school board meetings. She believes in providing regular updates, sharing information on multiple platforms, and seeking input from all stakeholders. Let us come together to build a school system that embraces the uniqueness of our students, values effective communication, and prioritizes the success and happiness of each and every child.
  • Financial transparency: for too long parents and stakeholders have been left out of the conversation of where the taxpayer dollars get allocated within our school district.
  • Literacy: just recently, our state has made changes to ensure that every child can read on grade level along with their peers. As a community, let's make sure we are purchasing the correct books and curriculum for our students.
  • Safety: safety extends beyond just hardening our schools. It includes making sure that our students aren't facing discrimination and racism, as well as their needs being met in the classroom through IEPs and 504 plans.
Making sure that our students are receiving the best education available to them.
