I am a wife and mother of 4 sons reared here in the 21st Ward. I ha a BS in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. I am a property developer and a business women. I am a Servant Leader and the former 21st Ward Committeewoman, and Alderwoman since August 2022, I have worked consistently and continuously to served the City of St. Louis's 21st Ward. Additionally, I am a former investigator who has worked at every level with At-Risk Populations providing wrap-a-round services to support our City.
  • I am asking People to vote for me because I have dedicated my life to being in the service of others. I have worked as a State of Missouri-Child Abuse Investigator, A State of Missouri-Tracker for Juvenile Offenders, A St. Louis Public Schools Teacher, a IDIC (State of Illinois) Case Manager for Federal & State Parolees, and an Investor for Keypoint Government Solutions-Contracted through the Defense Counter Intelligence Agency.
  • I would hope that the work that I have freely given to this community for the past 34 years, both with and without a title would demonstrate my level of commitment to our community and our city.
  • I would pray that people would vote for me because I have clearly shown that I understand the plight of our community and that I've used my mind, heart, and hands to help gain a better quality of life for our community and our city.
I am passionate about people! I have made my life's work about people and their needs and figuring out how to best serve them in the place where they are currently and how we can help to uplifting them and restore them to society.

I am passionate about social justice and how we as Legislators have the ability to shape laws to fit life in this modern time that we live in. We can bring greater justice by being cognizant of the issues and challenges that plague our community and people.
I looked up to my first boss, School Principal Jimmie Irons. He cared about giving children the very best quality of life possible. He invested in children, he invested in people...employees, interns and parents. He was an excellent educator and held people accountable for their actions both positive and negative. He praised good behavior and condemned bad behavior. When condemning bad behavior, he always left room for grace and mercy and another chance at redemption. He was well respected for being fair. He was keenly aware that his behavior as a black man in a position of power and authority was on display.
I remember when I heard that Elvis had died. It was a hot day. I was 12 years old. August 16th, I was in the kitchen cooking when my brother, Melvin rushed in and told me. I thought he was joking and then he turned on the small black & white TV in the kitchen and there it was...Elvis dead at 42.
My first job was with the City of St Louis SLATE Program.

I worked at Steven's Elementary School tutoring reading in their summer school program.

It was this summer Job that allowed me to buy my 1st brand new winter coat. Up until that time, I had always gotten my clothes and coat that my older sister had outgrown.
