Laura Kohler
Laura Kohler is a former nonpartisan member of the Ohio State Board of Education representing the state at large. Kohler was first appointed to the board in 2017. On December 11, 2020, Gov. Mike DeWine (R) reappointed Kohler to another term ending December 31, 2024.[1] On October 29, 2021, Kohler resigned from the board.[2]
Biography
Prior to her appointment to the state board, Kohler had spent six years on the New Albany-Plain board of education. Prior to that, she had served on the Worthington City board of education. Kohler had been elected president of both boards. As of November 2017, Kohler was an active member of the National Association of Realtors and the Ohio Realtors Association.[3]
