Laura Lucero y Ruiz Gutierrez (Democratic Party) ran for election to the New Mexico House of Representatives to represent District 17. Gutierrez lost in the Democratic primary on June 2, 2020.
Lucero y Ruiz Gutierrez was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 13 of the New Mexico State Senate. Gutierrez withdrew before the primary.[1]
