Laura Ward was a judge of the New York Supreme Court 1st Judicial District. She left office on December 31, 2023.
Education
Ward received her B.A. degree from Vassar College in 1975 and her J.D. degree from Fordham University School of Law in 1978.[1]

Ward's judicial career began in 1997, when she was appointed judge of the New York City Criminal Court. She served in that position until 2000, when she was appointed acting justice of the New York County Supreme Court.[1]
