Laura Zeman was a judge of the Tippecanoe County Superior Court in Indiana. She was elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expired on December 31, 2020. She previously served on the court from 1996 to 2002.[1]

Education

Zeman received a B.A. from Purdue University and a J.D. from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis.[2]

Career

Zeman was a part-time prosecutor for Clinton County at the time of her election to the bench in 2014. She was elected to the Tippecanoe County Superior Court in 1996 and served until 2002, when she was defeated by Les A. Meade. Prior to her time as a judge, Zeman was the deputy prosecutor in Tippecanoe County.[3][4]

Primary: She was successful in the Republican primary on May 6, 2014, receiving 57.2 percent of the vote. She competed against Gregory J. Donat.
