Laurel Beeler is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. She was appointed to this position on January 4, 2010.[1]

Education

Judge Beeler earned her A.B. with honors from Bowdoin College. She received her J.D. from the University of Washington Law School, where she was a member of the Order of Coif, as well as Articles Editor.[1]

Career

Before her judicial appointment, Judge Beeler spent her career at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of California. She was an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Professional Responsibility Officer, Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division, and Major Crimes Supervisor.[1]
