Lauren L. Brodie was a Collier County judge of the 20th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. She was appointed by former Governor Jeb Bush in October of 2001. She ran unopposed and was retained in the 2010 primary to a six-year term that ended on January 2, 2017.[1][2][3]

Education

Brodie received her B.A. degree from Brandeis University and her J.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Law.[1]

Career

Brodie began her career in 1983 as an assistant city attorney of North Miami Beach. In 1991, she became a judge of the Miami-Dade County Court. She was elevated to the 11th Judicial Circuit Court in 1995. She then served as a senior judge in the 20th Judicial Circuit from 1999 until she was appointed judge of that Circuit Court in 2001.[1]

2010 election

Brodie ran unopposed and was automatically retained to a new term.[2]
