Biography
Lauren Nowak earned a bachelor's degree from Knox College in 2009. She also studied public administration and public policy at Northern Illinois University. Nowak's career experience includes working in advocacy with AmeriCorps and other environmental policy related groups. She has also worked as a Spanish translator.

|She is an independent thinker with bold solutions, introducing common sense reforms that do what they claim: address tax accountability, invest in our communities, and cut out corruption and waste. From standing up to politician pay-raises while taxpayers are being stretched thin, to fighting against pay-to-play contracts and double-dipping pensions, Nowak is not another “yes man.”
A lifelong Bartlett resident, Nowak was the youngest female elected to the DuPage County Board in 2012. Aside from her public service as an elected official, she has professional experience across the nonprofit, government, and business sectors regarding education, health, and environmental issues. She is currently obtaining a dual master’s degree in Public Administration & Public Policy.
