Laurence J. Whalen was an Article I federal judge on the United States Tax Court. Whalen was nominated to the court by President Ronald Reagan on November 23, 1987. He served a full fifteen-year term and was recalled to senior status on November 23, 2002.[1][2]

Education

Whalen earned three degrees from Georgetown University, his A.B, J.D. and LL.M. He earned them in 1967, 1970 and 1971, respectively.[2]
