Lauretta Higgins Wolfson
Lauretta Higgins Wolfson was a judge of the Cook County Circuit Court in Illinois.[1] She was first appointed to the bench by the Illinois Supreme Court in 2006.[2][3] She was reappointed in 2013 to a term that expired on December 1, 2014. Wolfson left the bench at the end of her term.[4]
Education
Wolfson earned her J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1988 and an LL.M. in health law from Loyola University in 2000.[2]
Career

- 1994-2000: Adjunct professor, University of Chicago Law School
- 1993-Present: Adjunct professor, Chicago-Kent College of Law[2]
Wolfson has also served as deputy supervisor of the Transactions/Health Law Division of the Cook County State's Attorney's Office and as general counsel of the Illinois Department of Human Services.[2]
