Campaign themes

2013

Bishop provided the following statement for the 2013 Local Voters' Pamphlet in King County:[1]

"The current school administration and board has done a great job of implementing Strategic Improvement Plans as can be seen through an increase in test scores through the district. As a mother of an Auburn High School student, and a graduate, I know how important their work is and want to see it continue

My business experience as a Controller for an Engineering Firm, and my education in Accounting, will provide a great background to help me with the tough decisions made by the school board.

In addition to my business experience, I volunteer both within the Auburn School District and the community. I was active in the Pioneer Elementary PTA and served as Treasurer for multiple years. I also have been actively involved in volunteering to support youth sports both inside the schools and out.

Please cast your vote on election day!"
