Buchanan earned her B.A. from Indiana University in 1990 and her J.D. degree from the Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1995.[3]
Career
Prior to her judicial election in 2014, Buchanan served as a hearing officer for the Florida 19th Circuit Court. She also previously worked as an attorney in private practice.[3]
