Laurie L. Lau is a judge for the New York City Housing Court of Kings County, New York. She was first appointed to this position on January 25, 1993 and was reappointed in 2003 and 2008.[1][2]

Education

Lau received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1979 and her J.D. degree from the New York University School of Law in 1982.[1]

Career

Lau began her career in 1984 as a litigation associate with Arthur Birnbaum & Associates. She then worked for Marcus, Borg, Rosenberg & Diamond (also as a litigation associate) from 1989 until she was appointed to the Housing Court in 1993.[1]
