District 3 incumbent Jimmy "Marty" Burlison Jr., District 5 incumbent Farrel Vincent, and District 7 incumbent Alvis Ferrell also ran unopposed and won re-election to their seats. In the open District 9 race, Thomas Adams and Laurie McClerkin faced off, and McClerkin was elected to the seat.[3][4][1]
