Lawrence A. Schwartz was a judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court, Probate Division, in Florida. He served on the court from 1997 until his term expired on January 7, 2013.[1][2][3]

Education

Schwartz received his B.A. degree from the University of Oklahoma, his M.Ed. degree from Florida Atlantic University and his J.D. degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.[2]

Career

Schwartz, prior to received his law degree, worked as a teacher in the Miami-Dade County Public School System. He then worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Sacramento, CA and as an assistant state attorney in Miami-Dade County, FL prior to becoming a judge. He joined the Miami-Dade County Court in 1991 and then became a circuit court judge in 1997.[2][4]
