Lawrence Clark (b. July 24, 1945) is a former Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 46 from 1985 to 2017. He served as Speaker Pro Tempore from 1993 to 2014.

Clark did not seek re-election to the Kentucky House of Representatives in 2016. He announced in November 2014 that he would not seek another term as Speaker Pro Tempore.[1]

Elections for the Kentucky House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 28, 2014. Incumbent Larry Clark ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while David Rainey ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Clark defeated Rainey in the general election.[6][7][8]
