Lawrence J. Karnes ran for judge on the Luzerne County Magisterial District in Pennsylvania.

2011 election

Karnes ran for an open seat on the Luzerne County Magisterial District. He was defeated by Donald L. Whittaker in the Democratic party primary on May 17. He received 14.3% of the vote in the Democratic primary.[1] He only filed with the Democratic party.
