Lawrence John Appel
Lawrence John Appel is a former judge for the Superior Court of Alameda County in California. He was appointed by former Governor Gray Davis on April 3, 2003, to succeed Sandra Margulies.[1][2] Appel did not file for re-election and retired in January 2017.[3]
Education
Appel received a bachelor's degree from Saint Mary's College in 1964 and a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 1969.[2]
