Lawrence Kaifesh
Lawrence Kaifesh was a 2014 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 8th Congressional District of Illinois.[1] He was defeated by incumbent Tammy Duckworth (D) in the general election on November 4, 2014.[2] He defeated Manju Goel in the Republican primary on March 18, 2014.[3]
Kaifesh was considered a potential candidate for Illinois' 8th Congressional District in 2016. However, he announced that he would not seek election to the seat in May 2015.[4][5]
