Lawrence Lockman (Republican Party) was a member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 137. Lockman assumed office on December 4, 2012. Lockman left office on December 1, 2020.

Lockman (Republican Party) ran for election to the Maine State Senate to represent District 8. Lockman lost in the Republican primary on July 14, 2020.

Biography

Lawrence Lockman, as of April 2020, lived in Amherst, Maine. He graduated from Philadelphia-Montgomery Christian Academy in 1967. Lockman earned a degree in liberal arts and attended Covenant College and Pasadena City College. His career experience includes working as a territory manager with the National Federation of Independent Business, an hourly production-line employee with Diamond Occidental’s lumber mill, an elected shop steward with the United Paperworkers International Union, and as an op-ed columnist. Lockman founded the Maine First Project.[1]

The signature filing deadline for party candidates wishing to run in this election was March 17, 2014.
