A young, first generation, Chicano working everyday to improve the lives of others. Born and raised in San Jose, Ca. I
  • Health Care for all regardless of status
  • Immigration reform/abolish ICE
  • Immediate action is needed to combat climate change
Healthcare is a right and should not be tied to work. I believe people deserve a single payer gov't run healthcare system. People deserve a better use of their taxpayer money and should not have to deal with pharmaceutical companies choosing profit over people.
I am a huge fan of Maya Angelou. I find her insightful and wise. Her words provide our society with powerful facts. Which I rely on when talking to people on the campaign trail.
I, vividly, remember Sammy Sosa and Mark McGwire homerun chase of 1998, I was 7 at the time and it was amazing!!
My first job was making smoothies at Jamba Juice. I was 16 and I worked there for 4 years.
No, show me how you have worked and led your community. I will judge you off of those merits.
Climate change!! Our planet is heating up and we are not making any viable steps towards stopping it.
yes, districts are ever changing and leadership should reflect that idea.
I, firmly, believe in term limits. In all branches of gov't. To hold a position for multiple decades is not a viable way to represent a district or a nation. With changes to district lines or general social ideals our nation should be represented by people who look, sound, and understand us.
It is desirable, but if you are working with people in bad faith or completely opposed to moving society forward then I do not see how compromise could work.
