Lawyers and Judge Seek Vacant District Judgeship Position

Albuquerque, New Mexico: District Court Judge Theresa Baca will soon be retiring, leaving it up to Governor Susana Martinez to appoint a new judge to the position.[1]
On August 9th, 2012, a bipartisan Judicial Nominating Commission will be meeting to screen applicants and then recommend them to the Governor Susana Martinez for appointment.[1]
Applicants for the New Mexico Second Judicial District Court position are lawyers Jonathan L. Ibarra, Jeff Rein, Jennifer E. Romero and Amy Sirignano, all from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court Judge Cristina Jaramillo is also an applicant for the position.[1]
