Layne Walker was the judge of Texas District 252.[1] He was initially elected in 2002 and assumed office in January 2003. His term was to expire at the end of 2014, and, despite announcing he would not retire at serve until the end of term, Walker left office early, resigning in January 2014.[2]

Education
Walker received his undergraduate degree from Lamar University and his J.D. from Texas Southern University.[3]
