Recall reports

An effort to recall York County Commissioner LeRoy Ott is underway in Nebraska. The effort was launched by Waco resident Julia Wellman on July 11, 2025. Ott has 20 days to file a formal response to the recall petition. Once Ott files his response, the county clerk will then prepare the recall petition. If Ott does not file a response, the county clerk will prepare the recall petition after the 20 day period has passed. Once the recall organizer receives the petition, they can then circulate it and gather the necessary 442 signatures required to trigger a special election. Recall organizers have 30 days to circulate the petition after they receive it.[1]

Recall supporters
