LeeAnn Pierce
LeeAnn Pierce was a magistrate judge for the Third Judicial Circuit in South Dakota. She retired on March 22, 2013 after 22 years in the position.[1]
Education
Pierce earned her J.D. from the University of South Dakota in 1987. Before that, she received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from South Dakota State University. Pierce got her B.S. in history from the university in 1976, and her master's in counseling in 1978. She went on to work as a counselor there for seven years before becoming a lawyer.[2]
