Lee Ann Breading
Lee Ann Breading (Republican Party) is a judge of the Texas 462nd District Court. Breading assumed office on January 1, 2019. Breading's current term ends on December 31, 2028.
Breading (Republican Party) ran for re-election for judge of the Texas 462nd District Court. Breading won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Gov. Greg Abbott (R) appointed Breading to the court on December 20, 2018. Breading's appointment was effective January 1, 2019.[1]
Biography
Breading earned her B.A. in political science from the University of Illinois and a J.D. from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.[1] She began working as an assistant prosecutor for the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office in 1983. Almost a decade later, she began working for the Denton County District Attorney’s Office. She left that position in 2006 to work as a criminal defense attorney.[2]
