Lee Anne Brogowski was a 2016 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 11th Congressional District of New Jersey.[1] Brogowski was defeated by Joseph Wenzel in the Democratic primary.[2]

Brogowski was a 2014 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 11th Congressional District of New Jersey.[3] Brogowski was defeated by Mark Dunec in the Democratic primary election on June 3, 2014.

Brogowski earned her B.A. in elementary education and English from Trenton State College in 1992. She has been a business analyst with PSE&G since 2010. Prior to that she owned and operated a gourmet organic cookie company and worked as a consultant, computer programmer, and a teacher.[4]

Incumbent Rodney Frelinghuysen (R) defeated Joseph Wenzel (D), Jeff Hetrick (L), and Thomas DePasquale (Financial Independence) in the general election on November 8, 2016. Frelinghuysen defeated Rick Van Glahn in the Republican primary, while Wenzel won the Democratic nomination against Lee Anne Brogowski and Richard McFarlane. The primary elections took place on June 7, 2016. Frelinghuysen won re-election in the November 8 election.[5][6][7]
