The city of Long Beach, California held city council elections on June 3, 2014. A primary election took place on April 8. Because one candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote in the District 7 primary, the general election was called off. Roberto Uranga defeated Joan V. Greenwood, Lee Chauser and Teer L. Strickland.[1][2][3]
