Lee Anne Smalley Edmon is the presiding justice of the Second District, Division Three of the California Courts of Appeal. She was appointed by Governor Jerry Brown on June 28, 2014, to replace Joan Klein. She was confirmed by the California Commission on Judicial Appointments on August 28.[1][2] She was retained on November 4, 2014, to a term that expires on January 3, 2027.[3]

Edmon served as a judge of the Los Angeles County Superior Court from 2000 to 2015, and she was that court's first female presiding judge from 2011 to 2012.[1]

Edmon received her B.A. from Bob Jones University and her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law.[1]
