Lee F. Teague

Lee F. Teague is a district court judge for the 3A Judicial District, which presides over Pitt County of North Carolina. He was appointed to the court by Governor Pat McCrory in September 2013 to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Joseph A. Blick, Jr.[1] Teague ran for re-election to the 3A Judicial District in 2014, winning a new term that expired on December 31, 2018.[2][3]

Primary: He was successful in the primary on May 6, 2014, receiving 32.0 percent of the vote. He competed against Daniel Hines Entzminger and Faris Dixon.
General: He defeated Faris Dixon in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 52.2 percent of the vote.

Judicial performance evaluation
In July 2014, the North Carolina Bar Association released the results of a survey in which it asked lawyers to rate the judicial candidates for the trial courts. The candidates were rated from one to five on five different criteria as well as on their overall performance.[5]

Teague received his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University in 1993 and his J.D. from the North Carolina Central University School of Law in 1997.[6]
