Lee Harris (Democratic Party) is the Shelby County Mayor in Tennessee. He assumed office in 2018. His current term ends on September 1, 2026.
Harris (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for Shelby County Mayor in Tennessee. He won in the general election on August 4, 2022.
Harris is a former Democratic member of the Tennessee State Senate, representing District 29 from 2014 to 2018.

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 3, 2014. Lee Harris defeated incumbent Ophelia Ford, Ricky Dixon and Herman Sawyer in the Democratic primary. James Finney defeated Anthony Herron, Jr. in the Republican primary. Harris defeated Finney in the general election.[1][2]
