Mindy McCready custody dispute

Judge Harrod heard the Mindy McCready custody dispute on December 5, 2011. Details of the hearing are sealed, but McCready was said to be pleased with the outcome.[7]

The hearing occurred after McCready, the late country music singer, took her son out of the state of Florida and away from her mother, who had legal custody at the time. Though McCready was initially reported to be in Tennessee, she and her son were found in an Arkansas home, reportedly the home of her boyfriend, on December 2, 2011.[7]
