Lee Mayersohn
Lee Mayersohn is a judge of the New York Supreme Court 11th Judicial District. His current term ends on December 31, 2037.
Mayersohn (Republican Party, Democratic Party) ran for re-election for judge of the New York Supreme Court 11th Judicial District. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Education
Mayersohn received his B.A. degree from Queens College in 1978 and his J.D. degree from the Hofstra University School of Law in 1981.[1][2]
Career
Mayersohn began his career in January of 1982 as a self-employed lawyer and as Associate Speaker's Counsel for the New York State Assembly. He became a partner of Eiber & Mayersohn, Esqs. in May of 1987, and continued to work for the legislature until June of 1989. He then became a New York City Tax Commissioner. He worked in that position, and at Eiber & Mayersohn through December of 2004.[2]
Mayersohn's judicial career began in 2005, when he joined the New York City Civil Court bench. He was then elected to the Supreme Court in 2008.[1]
